We are seeking an experienced Electrical Development Engineer to join our team at Cartisian Technical Recruitment. As an Electrical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing control panels and related equipment for bespoke machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical control systems for automated machinery and robotic systems
- Build and test control panels and related equipment to ensure high-quality and safety standards
- Work with colleagues to deliver innovative technical solutions from initial concept to onsite commissioning
- Ensure machines are assembled and completed in accordance with safety standards and compliance, to British, European, and International standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and solutions
Requirements:
- Previous experience with electrical engineering and development of automated machinery and robotic systems
- Experience with wiring and electrical development of products including control panels, linear slides, gantry, rotary tables, sensors, pneumatic, robots, vision inspection systems, etc.
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering drawings and designs
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
