Join Our Team as a Chief Civil Maritime Engineer

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a highly skilled Chief Civil Maritime Engineer to play a vital role in shaping our exciting projects. As a member of our diverse and inclusive team, you will have the opportunity to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Set quality assurance standards in design.
  • Grow, develop and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels, and the transit of people and goods around the globe.
  • Working experience with current UK and European design standards including BS6349.
