Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve technical problems and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Make informed decisions on 'Go/No Go' for borderline cosmetic quality issues, minimizing cost of quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement teams for quality enhancement and waste reduction.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards, ensuring they reflect customer expectations.
  • Support internal and customer audits, driving action plans for improvement.
  • Manage complaint progress, identifying key quality issues and providing feedback to relevant teams.
  • Support new product introductions, including trial support and product acceptance into manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Science or Engineering discipline.
  • Proven quality experience, with the ability to gain support from others.
  • In-depth understanding of designated product groups.
  • Industrial experience in process industries.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Good IT skills and customer focus.
  • Flexibility in approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
