Position: Diesel Fitter
A reputable specialist in hydraulic and electric submersible pumps is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and fitting various diesel pumps and engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work split between the company workshop and client locations
- Dismantle, diagnose, and fit a variety of diesel pumps and engines
- Conduct repair work within the workshop on pumps and engines
- Travel to client sites as needed
- Respond to breakdown callouts according to the company schedule
Requirements:
- Proven experience in diesel fitting, particularly with pumps or engines
- Strong ability to dismantle, repair, and fit mechanical components
- Previous employment as a diesel fitter
- Located within a reasonable commuting distance
- Possession of a full driving license is essential
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of £15.75
- Full-time position, 39 hours per week
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30
- Overtime opportunities available
- 33 days of holiday, including public holidays
- Pension scheme offered
