Role Overview
The CFO Support Worker position is integral to our mission of assisting individuals in custody and the community. Our goal is to equip these individuals with essential skills and knowledge, aiding their transition back into society and significantly lowering the chances of reoffending.
This role involves managing a caseload of participants, offering exceptional support and guidance in both custodial and community environments. You will play a crucial role in helping participants navigate challenges related to successful reintegration, reach set objectives, enhance their skills, and secure sustainable employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of participants, providing tailored support and guidance.
- Assist participants in overcoming barriers to successful resettlement.
- Facilitate the development of skills and help participants achieve their employment goals.
- Conduct enhanced vetting checks as required.
- Work across various locations, ensuring effective support in both custodial and community settings.
Qualifications and Skills
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities, coupled with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and motivational techniques to engage with participants from varied backgrounds.
- A solid commitment to the rehabilitation of individuals in custody and the capability to work autonomously, providing community-based support.
- An understanding and commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
- The ability to successfully pass a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at an enhanced level.
