**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant and Machinery Sales Manager to join our team at Interaction - Leeds. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within your designated territory.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your designated territory to expand our market presence
* Oversee the entire sales process from quotation to closing, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up
* Utilize your technical knowledge to provide expert advice and solutions to customers, enhancing their understanding and trust in our products
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats, adapting sales strategies accordingly
* Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, demonstrating your progress and achievements
**Requirements**
* Minimum of 2 years in field sales within the plant and machinery hire industry or a similar technical engineering field
* Strong understanding of plant and machinery, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers
* Proven ability to manage and grow an existing customer base while successfully winning new business
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
* Proven self-motivation and ability to work independently
**What We Offer**
* Competitive salary: £48,000 - £52,000 basic, depending on experience
* Uncapped commission structure with an OTE of approximately £70,000
