Job Description:

Pertemps TM has an exciting opportunity for a Class C+E HGV Driver to join our team. As a Class C+E HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to retail stores from our national distribution centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trunking work to RDCs
  • No handballing and no lifting
  • Opening back doors
  • Ensuring loads are safely secured
  • Completing daily delivery paperwork and log sheets
  • Driving and operating a Class C+E HGV vehicle

Requirements:

  • Hold a LGV C+E licence with a minimum of 6 months driving experience
  • A driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and free of endorsements such as DD's, DR's or IN10s
  • Possession of an OPS35 (DHL) assessment is desirable and would be advantageous

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: Days - From 4am £17.54ph & £26.32ph
  • Monday to Friday: Nights - From 13:00pm £18.62ph & £27.92ph
  • Saturday: All Hours £18.62ph Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates
  • Sunday: All Hours: £22.62ph Based on a minimum of 8hrs Flat Rates

Benefits:

  • Accrual of holiday pay based on 2 days a month on a 40hr week
  • Enrollment into an optional pension scheme
  • Statutory sick pay (SSP) if any sickness after a certain period of working time
