Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Integral, a leading facilities and maintenance firm based across the UK. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team in delivering commercial duties for our Rolls Royce projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial team in delivering commercial duties for our Rolls Royce projects
  • Procure and manage our supply chain
  • Minimise costs and enhance value for money while achieving required standards and quality
  • Collaborate with PM and single source contractor on value engineering reductions
  • Estimate and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Prepare Bills of Quantities and/or Schedules of rates
  • Provide input and commercial adjudication to potential tenders
  • Review and plan commercial activities to meet programme requirements
  • Manage and monitor subcontract activities
  • Prepare and submit claims when required
Requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience in the role of a Quantity Surveyor within the building/construction/building service/M&E industries (essential)
  • Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (essential)
  • Experience in the use of NEC3 Contracts (highly desirable)
  • Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • High level organisational ability along with time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken
