We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. As a key member of our radiography department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of radiographers and imaging technicians to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care and high-quality imaging services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve imaging services, including the use of new technologies and techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
- Post graduate and/or Masters qualification within relevant field or equivalent.
- Post-graduate clinical experience in diagnostic imaging including experience of interventional radiology examinations.
- Experience using PACS and RIS and an understanding of their significance for good service management and patient care.
- Experience of acting as a deputy superintendent or equivalent senior role with team management and service delivery responsibilities.
- Project management experience.
