Lead Orthoptist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthoptist to take on the role of Lead Orthoptist - Clinical Services Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Orthoptic services, including the development and delivery of high-quality patient care.

• Provide clinical leadership and management of the Orthoptic service, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, service efficiency, and staff development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and patient care.
• Manage and develop the skills and competencies of the Orthoptic team, including training and education.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Represent the Orthoptic service at internal and external meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Registered Orthoptist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Proven experience in clinical leadership and management, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care and services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
