Unqualified Learning Support Assistant (SEN) Opportunity

We are working with a leading secondary school in Hackney to recruit an exceptional graduate to join their team as an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant (SEN). This is a part-time role, working 3 days a week, supporting students with additional needs (SEN) including Autism (ASD), Global Developmental Delay, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Speech and Language needs, and other Neuro Developmental Disorders.

This school is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for the last 10 years and has recently achieved top results nationwide. They are a leading training school in the Borough, taking on only 10 graduates a year, and offer plenty of CPD opportunities. They are also a salaried Schools Direct Opportunity for September 2025.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant (SEN), you will support students in a 1-2-1 and group setting, inside and outside of the classroom, delivering specialist SEN Interventions. You will work closely with the best staff in London, shadowing them and learning your craft, while being supported and pushed to be your very best.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a 1st class or 2:1 degree from a reputable University, strong A Levels & GCSEs across the board, and be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum. You must be able to engage and motivate the students, and have a commitment and ambition to succeed.
