Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, performing P&L reviews, quarterly VAT returns, HMRC tax affairs, and PAYE payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing the monthly management accounts and performing P&L reviews
  • Quarterly VAT returns, HMRC tax affairs, and PAYE payments
  • Identifying and improving key business processes and controls
  • Full involvement in the external audit process
  • Supporting the consolidation process, statutory accounting, and other internal group reporting
  • Supporting with quarterly rolling forecasting and annual budget setting processes
Requirements:
  • Finalist or holder of a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc)
  • Prior experience of a relevant finance role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Good Excel Skills
