Job Overview

We are seeking a junior solicitor with property litigation experience to join our team in Kendal. As a key member of our property litigation team, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, assisting senior fee earners, and contributing to the growth and development of our property litigation offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Develop relationships with clients and provide excellent client service
  • Responsible for smaller matters under supervision
  • Draft correspondence and court papers
  • Liaise and correspond with the Court, instruct counsel and experts
  • Attend court hearings and other all-party meetings
  • Provide support to other team members as required
  • Develop knowledge, experience, and expertise in property litigation
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality legal advice
Requirements
  • 0-4 years PQE
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise work
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Willingness to engage in business development and contribute to the growth of our property litigation offering
  • Experience of acting on a wide range of property litigation cases
