Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Podiatrist to join our multi-disciplinary team of 33 members of staff, including Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Podiatrists, Acupuncturists, Physiotherapists, GPs, massage therapists, MSK consultants, receptionists, clinic managers, and marketing liaison officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat physical problems or conditions
  • Develop treatment programs
  • Use specialist techniques to treat injuries
  • Collect and interpret clinical data
  • Write reports and case notes
  • Provide advice and education about next steps for treatment and avoiding future issues
  • Treat ankle and lower limb conditions, including ulcers, nerve damage in the feet, and sports injuries
  • Provide a detailed GAIT & Running Analysis
  • Prescribe Phits & Custom-made orthotics with the use of a foot pressure plate scanner
  • Treat verrucae with Swift microwave technology
  • Use Extracorporeal shockwave therapy to treat plantar fasciitis & tendinopathies
Diagnose and Treat a Wide Range of Conditions
  • Foot injuries, such as fractured or broken bones, as well as sprains and strains
  • Foot pain and inflammation due to arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or gout
  • Diabetic foot disorders, such as infections, chronic ulcers, and nerve damage or neuropathy
  • Structural foot abnormalities, including hammertoe, flat feet, and high arches
  • Skin conditions, such as warts, corns, plantar dermatosis, and athlete's foot
  • Nail conditions, including ingrown nails and nail infections
  • Causes of heel pain, such as plantar fasciitis
Requirements
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the root cause of issues
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Educate patients on proper posture, ergonomics, and exercises to improve their condition
  • Monitor and track patient progress through regular evaluations
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals required for comprehensive patient care
