We are seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Derby/London office. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with esteemed infrastructure programs in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, check, and assess tasks for various structures, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Produce engineering designs, details, and reports, adhering to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with CAD/BIM technicians to create 2D and 3D design drawings and models.
  • Deliver high-quality work, maintaining a conscientious approach to self-checking and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in site visits as required.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a strong desire to become a Chartered Engineer.
  • Post-graduate experience in a design environment, working on heavy civil or complex structures.
  • Familiarity with UK design standards or Eurocodes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A deep understanding and enthusiasm for structural engineering, with a commitment to technical excellence.
