Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Risk Engineer to join our gas construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing project risk profiles, as well as developing and implementing the risk strategy and methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with project teams to establish project scope and identify gaps in available information essential for project cost estimation and risk.
- Challenge available detail and obtain relevant missing information to develop assumptions, track progress, and manage relevant governance reviews and sign-offs.
- Undertake risk workshops for gas projects and update processes and procedures for risk.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective risk management.
Requirements
- Essential: Risk experience (ideally in the utilities industry).
What We Offer
This role offers a mix of office working in a hybrid environment and home working. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel into the office approximately 2-3 times a week.
