An excellent opportunity is available for a proficient Maintenance Engineer with a focus on electrical systems to join a vibrant team. This position allows you to engage with advanced machinery and play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of a modern facility.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer

  • Maintain all machinery and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Quickly and effectively respond to equipment failures.
  • Perform PLC troubleshooting at both input and output levels.
  • Resolve issues identified during internal HACCP evaluations.
  • Manage emergency breakdown calls outside of regular hours.
  • Improve equipment reliability through systematic preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical machinery.

Required Experience for the Maintenance Engineer

  • BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or a related Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
  • C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certification along with NVQ 3 in Electrical Maintenance.
  • Completion of a time-served apprenticeship.
  • HNC in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
