About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a college in Lincolnshire. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with challenging behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to students
  • Assist students with their learning, including reading, writing, and numeracy skills
  • Help students to develop their social and emotional skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving
  • Provide support with behavior management and de-escalation techniques
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Experience of working with students with challenging behavior
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
