Job Title: Principal Consultant Wealth/Lending

MERJE Ltd has partnered with a prestigious advisory firm to find a dynamic Principal Consultant to lead and manage advisory engagements, while spearheading business development initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in lending or wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm across the industry, promoting the company's values and expertise.
  • Lead and manage multiple client projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop bespoke solutions to meet clients' regulatory and operational needs, leveraging expertise in lending and wealth management.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project portfolios, managing client expectations and team tasks, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Produce weekly team updates and manage project budgets, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Drive business development through thought leadership, proposals, presentations, and client outreach, identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's client base.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of senior consultants, mentoring and guiding them to achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in recruiting new team members and represent the firm at industry events, promoting the company's brand and expertise.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments and their impact on client operations, ensuring the firm remains up-to-date and compliant.
Skills & Experience:
  • Deep knowledge of the UK financial services sector and FCA regulatory framework, with a strong understanding of lending and wealth management.
  • Proven consulting experience, with expertise in lending or wealth management, and a track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Alignment with the firm's values: innovation, passion, engagement, and excellence, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Outstanding work ethic and eagerness to learn, with a strong desire to grow and develop professionally.
