Job Title: HGV Class 1 Day Driver

Uniserve Holdings Limited is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Day Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently, maintaining the integrity of our vehicles, and adhering to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects promptly.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of company vehicles and ensure freight is securely loaded.
  • Communicate customer complaints to the Transport team for resolution and maintain cleanliness and presentability of the vehicle.
  • Comply with all current EU road transport regulations and ensure vehicle defects are reported immediately.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid HGV LGV Class 1 licence and a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card).
  • Possession of a Digital Tachograph card and no more than 6 points on your driving licence.
  • Prior commercial driving experience and ability to report customer complaints and vehicle defects in line with company procedures.
