Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Repair Workshop Technician to join our team at ProTech Recruitment Ltd. As an Electrical Repair Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including electrical distribution boxes, lighting, extension leads, cables, and sockets.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical assembly as needed.
  • Conduct PAT testing and calibration of equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and equipment specifications via computer database.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in wiring, common electrical, electrical testing, and mechanical assembly skills.
  • Previously held 18th Edition qualification or ECS card.
  • Prior experience as an assembler in an Electrical environment.
  • Ability to perform cable, harness, loom wiring for electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with control panel wiring for both electrical and electronic systems.
  • Certification or experience in maintenance electrical work.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes in electrical and mechanical assembly.
