About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist (Adult and Paediatric) to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with our existing consultant team to provide a wide range of dermatology services in partnership with primary care colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent dermatology care for the region as a member of the dermatology consultant body.
  • Work with the existing consultants to expand service provision for secondary care dermatology referrals.
  • Run clinics or minor surgical lists at both Chelsea and Westminster and West Middlesex Hospital.
  • Develop a research interest and actively participate in research projects.
  • Supervise trainees and teach medical students.
Requirements
  • Recognised Medical degree (MBChB / MB BS).
  • MRCP or FRCP.
  • Past record of academic achievement and publications.
  • On specialist register (or within 6 months of CCST at interview).
Desirable Qualifications
  • MD/PhD.
  • BSc.
  • Management qualification.
  • Teaching qualification.
Experience
  • Wide and in-depth training in Dermatology/General Medicine.
  • Established record in Paediatric Dermatology.
  • Established record in Dermatology education.
  • Proven track record in innovation, service improvement and system redesign.
  • Experience in teledermatology.
