Our ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with complex health needs, including epilepsy and physical disabilities. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing flexible and reliable support to our client.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of \u00a312.00, a pension scheme, and 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata. Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role.

Hours available:

  • Post 1: Working 2 weekends a month Saturday and Sunday (providing 2:1 care) 9am to 9pm, and Tuesdays 12 midday to 9pm (providing 2:1 care until 6pm and 1:1 until 9pm). Total of 57 hours per month.
  • Post 2: Working 2 weekends a month Saturday and Sunday (providing 2:1 care) 9am to 9pm, Thursdays 5pm to 9pm (providing 1:1 care), and 2 Sundays a month 12 midday to 4pm (these Sundays are alternate to the full days). Total of 56 hours per month.

What's Required:

  • Provide assistance with all aspects of personal care, bathing, washing hair dressing, feeding, changing.
  • A full driving licence and a willingness to drive our client's van (fully insured) must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
  • Flexibility and reliability in working hours is essential.
  • Weekend work is essential.
  • An enhanced DBS check, the cost will be met by the Employer.
  • Able to accompany our client to swimming including being in the pool with her.
  • Able to push a wheelchair.
