Key Responsibilities:
As a skilled Legal Assistant, you will deliver essential administrative support to legal professionals within the department. Your duties will include:
  • Facilitating the efficient exchange of documents and communications within the team.
  • Accurately typing various documents from handwritten notes or digital dictation.
  • Managing the scanning, emailing, and faxing of important correspondence and documents as needed.
  • Overseeing file management tasks, including the initiation and closure of files, photocopying, and organizing all pertinent documents.
  • Handling incoming calls, directing them appropriately, and taking messages when necessary.
  • Coordinating the schedules of legal professionals, arranging both internal and external meetings.
  • Assisting fellow team members in their responsibilities as required.

Qualifications for Success:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant, with a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.
  • A meticulous, organized, and conscientious work ethic.
