Job Title: Shunter Driver

We are seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our team at Taskmaster Resources. As a Shunter Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process by providing a constant flow of stock movement between our three sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the general tidiness of all three sites, adhering to our Clean as you go policy.
  • Ensure all stock is stored in the correct locations and that stock rotation is adhered to.
  • Transport stock between all three sites to aid the efficiency of the manufacturing process.
  • Transport stock between the sites in a timely manner.
  • Regularly transfer tank inspection sheets from North Site to South Site, ensuring these are delivered to a member of the management team.
  • Store all stock in the locations as per company guidelines.
  • Safe loading and unloading of vehicles following correct procedures.
  • Complete daily forklift and vehicle checks and report any faults to your Line Manager.
  • Follow H&S procedures and report any concerns to your Line Manager.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Team Player.
  • Able to work in a busy environment under pressure.
  • Stock management.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Organisational and Time Management Skills.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Forklift & Driving Licence Essential with the ability to operate a trailer.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Pay Rate:

£13.25 per hour.
