Exciting Opportunity for a Validation & Verification Manager

Alstom, a leading global player in the mobility sector, is seeking a skilled Validation & Verification Manager to lead the V&V management activities across signalling project portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, organise and perform verification, integration and test activities for major deployment projects
  • Create and maintain projects in approved V&V management tools
  • Produce verification and validation reports in support of gate reviews and commissioning
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and applicable norms, methods & tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering qualification
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience applying RSSB, Network Rail standards or equivalent rail infrastructure organisations
  • Experience Testing and Validation of safety critical systems

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of signalling design, installation, testing or safety assurance
  • Use of software database, such as DOORS/Regtify
