Position: IT Systems & Support Leader
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable + Annual Bonus)
Location: Dundee

Nicholas Hendry Ltd is collaborating with a prominent local and international organization in Dundee to identify a seasoned IT Systems & Support Leader. This role is pivotal in enhancing the company’s service and systems capabilities within a highly technical sector.

We are in search of a motivated professional to spearhead and cultivate the IT division within our well-established, locally based international enterprise. In this role, you will benefit from the stability and backing of a large organization while enjoying the dynamic environment of shaping a unique and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management at both UK and Group levels to outline strategic technology roadmaps that facilitate the achievement of organizational objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Train and assist managers across the organization in leveraging data to enhance control over processes, resources, and productivity.
  • Provide expert support and guidance for the integration of new business acquisitions into the existing systems framework.
  • Meet and surpass established departmental, business, and customer SLA and KPI targets.
  • Evaluate product performance and implement continuous improvements to minimize intervention rates.
  • Conduct testing of new hardware and software prior to deployment, including Unit, UAT, and Regression testing.
  • Unify existing internal and external product support teams into a cohesive Systems Team.
  • Ensure that the service team is effectively managed, mentored, and developed, fostering a culture and processes that support the achievement of individual and team goals.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in leading systems and development teams within complex and technical environments, or may have a background in a direct service desk setting. Strong technical awareness and exceptional communication skills are essential, as you will engage closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

While not mandatory, previous experience in a technical or programming capacity throughout your career would be highly beneficial.
