Job Description

Regional Quality Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Quality Specialist to join our team at Centre People Appointments. As a Regional Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day Quality program in our Steel Unit business and operations, ensuring adherence to ISO:9001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and implementation of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Conduct audits and inspections to measure the level of quality and compliance within the department.
  3. Identify and assess risks, and implement controls to manage and reduce these risks to ALARP.
  4. Develop and maintain quality documentation and records, ensuring they are issued and maintained in line with specified company documentation requirements.
  5. Support the development of Project Quality Plans and ensure Suppliers and Subcontractors are identified, evaluated, and re-evaluated in line with their requirements.
  6. Ensure our Assessed Supplier List is maintained and our Contractor/Supplier Management standard is implemented.
  7. Support the Quality approach to our customers, ensuring customer feedback is recorded and actions taken where deemed necessary.
  8. Participate in inventory cycle counts, ensuring Yard standards are maintained in accordance with defined standards.
  9. Provide Quality support in relation to business tenders and prepare and contribute to monthly quality reports.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or Process industry, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
  • QMS Internal Auditor qualification.
  • Experience in maintaining a Quality Management System, ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Experience in Quality Management System Auditing, internal, external, and 3rd party.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and experience in supplier evaluation in relation to Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience in developing and presenting training material on various roles and processes.
  • Business level of English.

What We Offer:

Up to £48K depending on experience, plus good benefits. Regular travel in Europe and Central Asia (~2 trips per month at peak times). Hybrid style, 2 days a week in the office.
