Manufacturing Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our team at MARS Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and implementing new factory machinery and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multiple continuous improvement and machinery projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from £100k to £1m.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
- Develop and implement engineering designs using CAD software.
- Work with manufacturing automation systems and computer-literate, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point.
- Experience in designing and implementing factories or production lines, knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO, and programming CNC machine tools or PLC systems or Industrial Robots is highly desirable.
- Engineering qualification, either via an Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a production engineering role, with a proven track record of working with high-volume manufacturing areas and complex products.
- Proven people management skills, with the ability to develop others through coaching and support.
