HGV Class 1 Operators Needed

Logistics People is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Operators for temporary assignments.

About the Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving: Operating modern vehicles to transport goods efficiently.
  • Trunking: Engaging in long-distance transportation between distribution centers.
  • Store Deliveries: Delivering a variety of products to retail locations.
  • General Haulage: Moving diverse goods from one location to another.
  • Manual Handling: Physically managing goods during loading and unloading processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to maintain safety standards.
- Keeping accurate records of deliveries and maintaining logbooks in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:
- A valid HGV 1/C+E License.
- A minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
