Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Work Based Learning Manager to ensure high standards of quality and compliance across the provision for all aspects of all learner's journeys.
- Lead internal Quality Assurance (IQA) strategies, plans and activities that reflect the College's IQA policies.
- Support the Work Based Learning Manager with the design and management of all aspects of employer-based training programmes within the area.
- Collaborate with the Work Based Learning Manager and Head of Department to ensure a high-quality experience for all stakeholders involved in work-based learning and apprenticeship programmes.
- Line manage an agreed caseload of Trainer Assessors to ensure high quality of provision and good practice.
- Collaborate with the Work Based Learning Manager and Head of Department to ensure the promotion, knowledge and understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and work-based learning programmes.
- Lead in the planning and execution of external quality assurance visits and End Point Assessment for Apprentices.
- Contribute to and engage with department self-assessment and quality improvement planning.
- Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD.
- Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc).
- Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.
- Level 4 Leading Internal Quality Assurance Qualification.
- Experience of training and assessing within a Further Education or training environment.
- Recent Internal Quality Assurance experience.
- 27 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays.
