Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Specialist to join our team. As a SEN Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist SEN students with their academic work, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support classroom teachers in managing behaviour and learning challenges
- Work closely with the SENCO and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Relevant experience in working with SEN students
- Team Teach certification
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Additional training in SEN support
- Teaching Assistant qualification
