Commissioning Specialist

Job Summary:
Lanesra Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of a major water treatment project in Shropshire. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant commissioning of water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out commissioning activities in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Review and monitor project risks related to MEICA systems.
- Attend commissioning system inductions and tool box talks to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Liaise with the design team to incorporate commissioning requirements into the design stage and scope of works.
- Develop and review compliance and commissioning plans in conjunction with design intent.
- Assist in the development of the initial commissioning programme.
- Attend progress and commissioning meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
- Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables to support project completion.
- Provide input into commissioning strategy reviews and documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors regarding commissioning deliverables and interfaces.
- Assist training coordinators in compiling training deliverables and engage in site training sessions.
- Assist O&M coordinators in compiling and reviewing O&M manuals.
- Distribute commissioning logs and daily diaries to project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning.
- Extensive site experience of water and/or water recycling operations.
- Practical knowledge of water and/or water recycling processes.
