Position Overview

Atlas is in search of a proficient HVAC Systems Maintenance Specialist to enhance our operational team. In this role, you will be tasked with providing maintenance solutions to ensure optimal functionality of our facilities.

Your responsibilities will include executing scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) and addressing reactive maintenance issues in line with established service level agreements (SLAs). This role necessitates a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a solid background in diverse facility management operations.

Primary Duties
  • Uphold the highest standards of service and technical expertise
  • Perform PPM and manage minor repair projects
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, customers, and team members
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional service and client satisfaction
  • Provide technical assistance and direction to clients and colleagues
  • Ensure efficient service delivery and resource allocation
  • Guarantee safe execution of maintenance tasks
  • Prepare estimates for time and materials for minor projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve service excellence
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Keep precise records in the Maximo management system
  • Be available for after-hours emergency response
Qualifications

Educational Background and Certifications:

  • GCSE in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC specialization)
  • City & Guilds BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)
  • Legionella (L8) certification and competency (preferred)
  • Health and Safety certification, such as IOSH Working Safely (preferred)

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing service role
  • Experience with building services equipment
  • Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) operations
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC systems
  • At least 2 years in multi-site service management
  • Background in property maintenance
  • Experience with MAXIMO / CAFM systems
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexibility in handling various maintenance responsibilities
