Senior Staff Nurse Intensive Care Unit

At JS3 Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at a brand new state-of-the-art Private Sector Hospital in Birmingham.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement critical care services
  • Provide clinical complex care of ICU patients, including Cardiac and complex oncology cases
  • Support junior staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care from admission to onward discharge
  • Promote and demonstrate contemporary approaches to Critical Care nursing
  • Take operational responsibility for effective resource management
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge and skills in managing complex and changing healthcare needs of critically ill patients
  • Promote a learning environment that encourages staff development
  • Act as a credible clinical role model
  • Practice as a professional senior nurse with confidence, authority, and expertise
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Intensive Care Post Graduate Certificate or relevant critical care qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years senior experience in intensive care settings
  • ILS/ALS certification
  • Act in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct
  • Commit to continued personal and professional development
