Job Summary

Discover is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the development of technology strategy and technical capabilities for our application ecosystem. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing application architecture that balances business and customer needs with technical non-functional requirements for resiliency, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Product Owners to develop product vision and strategy, aligning product vision with technology strategy.
  • Oversee the design process for applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Coach other architects to develop product quality strategy, including non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, and security.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks.
  • Train others in solution design patterns.
  • Coach internal technology communities and engage in researching modern technologies and patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Software Development, Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, or related field.
  • Internal applicants: technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale.
  • External applicants: technical interview required.
