About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Scrumconnect Consulting. This role is critical in driving our cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless deployment and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure.
  2. Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes.
  3. Collaborate with development teams to ensure CI/CD.
  4. Manage and configure Windows and Linux environments.
  5. Use configuration management tools like Ansible and Chocolatey.
  6. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  7. Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration.
  8. Write and maintain scripts using Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  9. Manage SQL and MS SQL Databases.
  10. Ensure security best practices are implemented across all environments.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Requirements
  1. 6-12 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure.
  2. Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
  3. Experience with Windows configuration management tools such as Chocolatey.
  4. Expertise in Azure services and infrastructure.
  5. Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  6. Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management.
  7. Proficiency in containerization using Docker.
  8. Strong scripting skills in Shell, Bash, or PowerShell.
  9. Experience with SQL databases, particularly MS SQL.
  10. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
  11. Understanding of.NET applications and their deployment.
  12. Familiarity with DataBricks is a plus.
  13. Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience with DataBricks.
  2. Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services.
  3. Certification in relevant technologies.
