We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aurora Severnside. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to ensure they feel safe and valued.
  • Promoting independence and personal development in pupils, maintaining high expectations of behavior at all times.
  • Contributing to providing high-quality educational activities and experiences, supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Supporting the Class Teacher in the day-to-day running of the class.
  • Responding to the varying and changing needs of the school, adapting to any task presented to achieve the smooth running of the school.

Successful candidates will have a GCSE pass in Maths and English, an understanding of safeguarding principles, and a commitment to the role. We offer full training and continued support, as well as opportunities to gain qualifications and develop your career.
