Marketing Officer - Faculty of Business and Law

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Marketing Officer to support subject-specific marketing activities for the Business & Law Faculty at Middlesex University. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an effective annual marketing plan aimed at student recruitment and reputation building.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Develop an in-depth understanding of the student recruitment market, including target audience motivations, influencers, and their emotional journey.
  2. Create annual faculty marketing plans, executing effective marketing communications both online and in print.
  3. Collaborate with the Faculty Marketing Manager and Head of Student Marketing & Campaigns to maintain relevant and compelling content on the university's website and social media channels.
  4. Provide marketing tools, messaging, and assets to support the prospective student journey from campaign to enrolment.
  5. Coordinate specific student recruitment marketing projects, events, and activities, including Open Days.
  6. Enhance school, enquirer, and influencer-focused activities with the Education Liaison & Outreach team.
  7. Set and monitor KPIs for all marketing activities, reporting progress and outcomes.
  8. Develop advertising campaigns that attract target audiences and drive applications.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. They will also have a passion for delivering high-quality marketing campaigns that drive results.
