Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Operations Manager to join our team at Prax Upstream. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and policies across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure compliance with environmental statutory provisions throughout the full life-cycle of our onshore and offshore operations
  • Administer EEMS database, setting OSPAR EEMS requirements, and prepare OPEPS, Environmental Impact Assessments, and Environmental Statements
  • Propose and monitor against annual environmental targets and objectives, and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental returns
  • Manage production, vent, and flare consents, and other discharge consents, including OPPC, ETS, and Chemical tracker
  • Liaise with other West of Shetland Operators to exchange environmental information and lessons learned
  • Lead environmental survey responses and consultations, including Atmospherics Technical Group, Energy and Climate Policy Forum, and Government Relations Group
  • Monitor changes to environmental legislation and advise Hurricane personnel, maintaining appropriate records
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE&Q corporate policies and applicable legislation, and participate in development as appropriate
Requirements
  • Technical degree or equivalent with relevant application to the oil and gas industry
  • Chartered Member of a professional environmental body
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience of UKCS field development, specifically knowledge of associated reporting and operational requirements
  • Proven environmental leadership experience
  • Knowledge of current environmental indicators and techniques for enhancing EH&S performance, and knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001
