Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Lookers Tyneside Audi. As a key member of our Service department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform MOT tests in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests, ensuring all vehicles meet the required standards.
  • Carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance work, following manufacturer-approved procedures.
  • Take vehicles on road tests to verify all faults have been rectified and the vehicle is safe to drive.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out, including test results and repair documentation.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid MOT testing license and a full UK driving license.
  • Have prior experience as a mechanic or in a related field, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
  • Be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience working with Audi brand is advantageous, but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
