Environmental Consultant/ Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of environmental projects, with a focus on oil pollution and contaminated land.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Oversee the financial control of projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and managing payments.
- Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Deliver high-quality, commercially focused solutions and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct field surveys, gather data, and carry out desk-based research to assess site contamination levels.
Requirements:
- A science-based degree, with additional qualifications in environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant industry experience, with strong technical and project management skills.
- Knowledge of international environmental and social standards.
- Strong commercial awareness, with proven ability to manage project finances and teams effectively.
