About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our finance team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the group-wide revenue process, ensuring accurate month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Process Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely completion of revenue-related tasks, including month-end close activities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Liaise with internal teams to ensure project-related data in our CRM system is current and up-to-date.
  • NetSuite System Management: Handle revenue-related NetSuite system tasks, including preparing group and entity revenue reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for revenue accounts, including deferred income, accrued income, and prepayments.
  • Journal Entry Management: Post necessary journals, including intercompany transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Lead project changes impacting revenue management information and post any required NetSuite transactions.
  • Training and Development: Develop training manuals/process guides for the revenue accounting process and conduct training sessions to upskill the finance team.
  • Control Environment: Propose improvements to the control environment as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups. Knowledge of NetSuite, including Advanced Revenue Management, is advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
