Job Title: Quality Assurance QA Analyst

At FX Digital, we're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance QA Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full test life cycle, from requirement analysis to test execution and defect capture.
  • Enforce and uphold quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Hold yourself and colleagues accountable for the standard of work released, ensuring it meets both aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation of test plans and test cases.
  • Report and prioritize bugs and issues raised in various channels.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Junior and Senior QAs to implement broader automation coverage across current and future projects.
  • Assist in the personal development of more junior members of the QA team.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of JavaScript or another programming language.
  • Knowledge of APIs, testing of them, and related tools.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to all levels within the business.
  • Experience with version control and workflows and relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Able to demonstrate great attention to detail, care, and accuracy while maintaining the speed of work to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Exceptional understanding of UX qualities.
  • Experience using software debugging tools (e.g. web inspector).
Desirable:
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience working in a wider team with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Relevant work experience with OTT apps (Connected Devices/Smart TV).
  • Working knowledge of implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • ISTQB qualifications.
  • Experience implementing or integrating unit testing.
  • Experience testing on Playstation and/or Xbox platforms.
  • Experience testing HTML video players.
  • Relevant work experience testing iOS and Android mobile apps.
  • Experience using Charles proxy.

This is a full-time role based out of our office in Old Street, London. We can only consider applicants who are able to work 3 days per week from the office.
