We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join our Group legal team as a part-time specialist in property dispute resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of litigation matters, including contractual, construction, and property disputes.

• Manage a caseload of property and construction-related disputes, providing strategic legal solutions and high-quality legal advice.
• Supervise and train other solicitors and members of the team on dispute work, ensuring effective dispute procedures and management.
• Correspond with litigants, providing updates and reports to the regional teams, the General Counsel, and the Executive.
• Develop a network of personal contacts across the Avant Homes operating area, fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Represent the business at court on lower-value disputes, instructing senior and junior counsel as necessary.
• Liaise with external solicitors to manage high-value, complex claims, ensuring effective case management and resolution.

• A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a similar role, with a strong background in property litigation.
• Supervisory and training skills, with the ability to manage multiple caseloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Demonstrable technical experience gained within the Property Litigation field, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements, with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
