As a vital member of our Operations Team, the Conference Set-up Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of events at our premier venue. This position is hands-on and requires a proactive approach to manage the set-up and breakdown of various functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough opening and closing checklists to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house areas during operational hours.
- Prepare meeting rooms and dining areas in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues through the internal system.
- Handle laundry preparations and associated documentation.
- Administer First Aid as necessary; training will be provided if needed.
- Complete incident reports and distribute them to relevant departments.
- Ensure a comprehensive handover at the end of each shift.
- Assist in setting up for upcoming conferences and events with team support.
- Delegate tasks effectively and maintain a proactive team environment.
- Support the Manager with weekly administrative tasks in their absence.
- Utilize initiative and discretion to address any arising challenges.
- Ensure the safety of all guests and staff during your shift.
Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who are comfortable with a flexible schedule, including night shifts. While prior experience in a supervisory role is advantageous, a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality are essential for success in this position.

- Experience in supervising teams in a similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
