About the Role:
Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team. As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the construction programme, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction Programme Management: You will be responsible for drafting and managing construction programmes, agreeing subcontractor programmes, and incorporating them into the overall construction programme. You will also identify potential delays and implement measures to keep the programme on track.
- Design Coordination: You will be responsible for managing the steady flow of design information, working closely with design stakeholders, including project architects, engineers, and consultants. You will host regular design coordination meetings to ensure that queries are answered and the site is receiving the necessary design information to progress works on site.
- Budget Management: You will be responsible for managing the construction budget, ensuring that weekly spend on general labour and materials is within budget parameters. You will also negotiate and award work packages to subcontractors, ensuring that scopes of work are clearly defined and pre-start meetings are held with each subcontractor.
Requirements:
- Experience: You will have previous experience as a Senior Site Manager, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in residential construction.
- Qualifications: You will have strong knowledge of M+E, Steel Frame, and RC construction, as well as management and health and safety qualifications.
- Skills: You will have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as strong IT skills.
