Production Manager

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days
Omega Leeds is seeking an experienced and motivated Dayshift Production Manager to join our team. Our client is a global leader in FMCG manufacturing, with a manufacturing facility experiencing sustained expansion and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all operations across the department, prioritizing safety, quality, line efficiency, and delivery.
- Report directly to the Plant Manager and collaborate with the manufacturing team to control the movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Act as a change agent, responsible for day-to-day management of technical and production professionals in your area.
- Coordinate and drive development projects to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance competitiveness.
- Provide technical support and analysis, utilizing industrial performance and continuous improvement tools.
- Considerable understanding of factory operations, process, manufacturing, and packaging backgrounds.
- Experience in FMCG, process, or fast-paced manufacturing industry, with factory knowledge and understanding of key drivers.
- Inspirational leadership and management of people.
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification is advantageous.
