Site Manager Job Description

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to join our Operations and Maintenance team in Cumbernauld, Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for controlling and managing all RSE activities on site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Management: Instruct, direct, control, and allocate work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, filed correctly and available for inspection.
  • Communication: Discuss work-related matters with trades operatives and contractors.
  • Liaison: Liaise with other contractors engaged on site on a day-to-day basis.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on contract progress and future resource requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience within the water sector is highly advantageous, but other industrial sectors, including civil engineering, will be considered.
  • Certifications: SMSTS and CSCS certifications are required.
  • Driving License: Full UK driving license is essential.
