We are seeking a skilled professional to assist a Local Authority in Swindon with the appointment of a Repairs Surveyor, on a 1-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating and supervising building maintenance operatives to ensure efficient use of resources.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate and supervise building maintenance operatives to optimize resource utilization.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks within priority periods and maintain high standards of work.
  • Develop detailed schedules of works and specify job requirements to facilitate in-house workforce execution.
  • Procure non-stock materials and stock materials for larger or more complex projects, ensuring timely collection or delivery to site.
  • Monitor the delivery of repairs in accordance with agreed policies and performance standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven expertise in maintenance delivery.
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering a wide range of building repairs.
  • Experience in working with both direct and indirect labor.
  • Knowledge in diagnosing building faults to a wide range of buildings.

**Important Considerations:**

  • Candidates must be available to start immediately or at short notice.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
